Ovenly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Peak Apps Studio ("we") makes Ovenly. This policy says what the app does with your information. Short version: we collect nothing.

What Ovenly stores

Your recipes, photos you add, meal plans, shopping list and settings are stored only on your device. We have no account system, we do not receive any of it, and we run no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Importing a recipe from a link

When you paste a web address and tap Get recipe, the app downloads that one page from the website, like a browser does, and reads the recipe on your device. The website you choose can see your IP address as with any page you open. We do not see the address or the page.

Camera and photos

The camera and photo library are used only when you scan a page or add a picture to a recipe. Text is recognised on the device with Apple's text recognition. Photos are not uploaded anywhere.

Notifications

Ovenly can show a local notification when a kitchen timer you started runs out. It is created on your phone; no push service or server is involved.

Backups

"Save a backup" creates a file on your device that you can send to yourself with the iOS share sheet. We never receive it.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details. Ovenly checks your purchase status with the App Store on your device.

App updates

The app can download updates to its own code from Expo's update service (expo.dev). Like any download, this reveals your IP address and app version to that service. No personal content is included.

Children

Ovenly is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.

Your choices

You can delete everything from Me > Delete all my data, or by deleting the app. You can turn the camera, photos and notifications off for Ovenly in iOS Settings at any time.
